In recognition of World Oceans Day, the ECO-Warrior Foundation, Aloha School of Surfing, and the Higher Ground Sun Valley Foundation will be teaming up to teach 18 disabled veterans how to surf.
Higher Ground programs use innovative sports and recreation therapies to enhance the quality of life for our injured military community and our local population of children, teens, and adults with disabilities.
It is with great respect that we give back and share the Aloha stoke with those who have fought for this great country.
As a special thank you, The Point restaurant (located in Dana Point) will be providing lunch.
The ECO-Warrior Foundation will also be giving each participant an ECO-Warrior t-shirt as a special thank you for their service.
We couldn’t think of a better way to honor World Oceans Day than spend a beautiful day at the beach with the Higher Ground Foundation and our valiant troops.
